Next up in our “Introducing the Seabernauts” series is Corey Cacho, our friendly and driven Business Development Rep. Originally from sunny California, Corey has called Finland home for the past 13 years. These days, he lives in Helsinki with his family. Around here, we just call him Corey—but back in his baseball days, he went by the nickname C4: The “C” is for Cacho and “4” was his player number throughout his Finnish baseball career. Also, Corey used to hit the ball pretty hard 💣.
Corey joined Seaber in October 2024, diving right into all things Business Development. He’s the go-to guy for outbound efforts and bringing new energy into our sales pipeline. Before Seaber, Corey spent a few years in business development at a company called Clevry, which specializes in psychometric assessment tools.
While exploring job opportunities, Corey was drawn to Seaber’s mission. He has always enjoyed selling solutions that make people’s work lives easier and less stressful. From the very first interview, he felt natural camaraderie with fellow Seabernauts and was convinced Seaber was the right fit. He says the culture here is warm, welcoming, and truly fun to be part of. We couldn’t agree more!
But Corey’s path here wasn’t exactly typical. Before jumping into sales, he worked as a sociologist and ran the night shift at a shelter for paperless immigrants in Helsinki. He made sure people had a safe place to sleep and a warm meal—something that clearly shaped his people-first approach. Corey says that experience taught him how to really listen, something that now helps him understand exactly what potential clients need when he picks up the phone.
Outside of work, Corey’s all about the outdoors and family time. He’s into camping and fishing, and he’s a proud dad of four. Oh—and he coaches the Helsinki Puumat baseball team! Fun fact: back in high school, Corey was the lead singer in a metalcore band. Also, not to brag on his behalf, but he’s a 2018 Finnish Baseball Championship winner.
If you want to connect with Corey, drop him a line at corey@seaber.io. We’re super lucky to have him on the team!
