Meet Kanchan Soni, Seaber’s DevOps Engineer, who joined Seaber in the spring of 2025. She is the driving force behind designing, building, and managing Seaber’s cloud infrastructure from the ground up.
Kanchan is on a mission to bring everything under a clean, well-structured Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup. Her goal is to ensure that Seaber’s environments are not only stable and secure but also fully automated: paving the way for the ISO 27001 certification.
Kanchan discovered Seaber through a LinkedIn job posting while searching for a role that would let her work with the technologies she truly enjoys. What caught her attention was Seaber’s vision, which is not just maintaining existing systems but building infrastructure from scratch. That opportunity to create something new and grow with a fast-moving startup felt like the perfect match.
Kanchan brings over 12 years of professional experience across multiple domains. She began her career as a Software Engineer, later spending six years in the banking sector, working with complex core banking systems. For the past four years, Kanchan has been working as a DevOps Engineer, continuously learning, experimenting, and staying up to date with evolving industry standards.
Outside of work, Kanchan’s creativity shines in her kitchen. Cooking isn’t just a hobby; it’s her passion. If she is not in the Kitchen then you can find her in garden, where she loves planting and taking care of plants. Not many people know this, but Kanchan runs her own channel “Tech Savvy”, where she teaches people (even those from non-technical backgrounds) understand complex DevOps topics in a practical, easy-to-follow manner.
